Imager Not Connected

Problem:

The POV Recorder screen displays: Imager Not Connected

Solutions:

Non-Tethered Digital A/V Cable is installed Backwards
Your digital A/V cable may be installed backwards. The cable is directional, thus you should make sure that the side with the V.I.O. logo is attached to the camera head.

Example:

Bent or Missing Pins
You may need to check your cable for any damaged or missing pins, as well as any other rips or cuts to the cord. Issues caused by Bent Pins can be found here.

Tips and Tricks:

Please note that this issue can occur due to a malfunction in the Recording Unit, the Digital AV cable, or the camera head.

Please power down the POV when checking the orientation of the cable. Also make sure that the Digital AV cable and the camera head are attached before you power up the POV. If you do power the POV without the cable or head you will need to reboot it in order for the Recording Unit to see the camera head.
